Rundown
· There will be 30 GMs, 1 for each team. We ask that you do not sign up if you do not plan on being active daily.
· The time that this game hypothetically takes place in is June 8th 2010. After a period of RFA/UFA signings, we will start the 2010-2011 season. We will have a string of about 7-10 days where there will be trades allowed to be made. We will then have the Trade deadline, after the deadline we will vote on the standings and playoffs until we have a winning team. After we will have a few days to trade and resign UFA/RFA’s. We will hold the 2011 draft 2 days after the playoffs end. Free Agency 2011 will follow.
Salary Cap
· The salary cap for the 2010-2011 season will be $59.4M
Waivers/Buyouts
· Post in the “WAIVER WIRE” thread if you'd like to place a player on waivers.
· Each team has the option of sending down 2 players with 1-way contracts to the minors (or Europe) due to cap reasons and only 1 buyout will be allowed per team.
· The lowest team in the standings in real life gets highest waiver wire priority.
Trades
· Once a trade is agreed upon, you must send it in to Capsfan19 or gohabsgo. After being sent in, you can announce it in the “TRADE” thread. If a deal is thought to be absolutely ridicules by Capsfan19 or gohabsgo we hold the power to veto it.
· ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. Washington will not trade Ovechkin, Pittsburgh will not trade Crosby, etc. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
· Trades involving NTC/NMC’s must be sent in and approved by Capsfan19 or gohabsgo. If you post the trade before approval your trade will be vetoed and you will have to change one bigger part of the deal. It is a good idea to give us some reasons why you think the player should waive.
· If a team does not have enough cap space (not including off season) to acquire a certain player, the team must acquire enough cap space in 48 hours or the trade will be vetoed.
