NHL.com has reported that Eric Brewer's time in St.Louis appears to be over. With the Blues going into a rebuild phase, Brewer is no longer a part of the plan. Brewer has expressed interest in going to a contending eastern conference team that is looking for veteran prescence in the back end. The Blues are looking for a young 3 or 4 defencemen in return.
